Phone-only sign-in (no email, no password). Vaccination status, child birthdates, and full phone numbers are never displayed publicly. All data lives in a Row Level Security-protected Supabase Postgres database, encrypted at rest. We don’t sell, share, or monetize your data.

For the best experience, yes — we’re intentionally hyper-local. Wilmomma is built for the Cape Fear region (Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Leland, Hampstead). We may expand to nearby NC cities once Wilmington reaches saturation.

Absolutely. Many of our most active users are pregnant and looking for community before baby arrives. Our postpartum groups, prenatal events, and "mom friend" matching are designed for any stage of motherhood.

That’s totally fine. You can use Wilmomma just for the calendar and wallet without ever swiping. Many moms start that way.

When you buy a $24 gift for a friend, your card is charged immediately via Stripe. The partner gets paid ($19.20, or 80%) only when your friend redeems the gift in person. Wilmomma keeps 20% to fund the platform. Unredeemed gifts expire per the partner’s expiration date and may be refunded by admin.

Yes — any free mom group, ministry, library program, or community organization can list themselves and their events at no cost. Your events sync from Google or Microsoft Calendar (or you can post manually). You can DM connected moms and send one mass message per month for free.

Partners apply through /partners. We manually review every application for fit: must serve Wilmington-area moms, must have a real business presence, and must pass our community guidelines review. Once approved, you set up Stripe Connect for payouts and you’re live.

Wilmomma is built as a mobile-first responsive web app, so it works beautifully in your phone’s browser (just add to home screen!). Native iOS and Android apps are on the roadmap for late 2026.

Account → Settings → Delete Account. We immediately remove your profile, photos, and matches. Per North Carolina law, financial transaction records are retained for 7 years; everything else is wiped within 30 days.
